The Audi A6 Saloon features TFSI technology. What makes this so special is that it combines the advantages of FSI with a supercharger that improves the power characteristics to even greater effect. The new gasoline engine features 1,798 cc, in a four-cylinder unit producing 140 kW (190 hp) and 320 Nm of torque, the latter between 1,400 and 4,100 rpm. Compared to the A6 previously sold in Vietnam, the CO 2 emissions have decreased by as much as 22 percent, while output has increased by 8 kW (10 hp) and fuel consumption reduced by 0.7 liter per 100 kilometers. Special features of the engine include dual injection in the combustion chambers and the induction pipe, the exhaust manifold integrated into the cylinder head and the Audi valvelift system (AVS) for the exhaust valves.
